Screen Actors Guild Awards 2010

The 2010 SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards air tonight on TBS and TNT, beginning at 8pm. The awards show is unique in that actors get to vote and pick their faves for winners, no critics or foreign presses for these babies.

They are also a good indicator of what's to come during the Academy Awards, as they come after the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards. We have to wait until March to see who take home the Oscars, but SAG Awards are a good barometer to hold us over. The SAG Awards also feature TV awards.

The red carpet already highlighted some of Hollywood's finest, and we're sure there's more to come as the show kicks off. The Hurt Locker, Precious and Inglourious Basterds are up against An Education and Nine, while previous awards show favorites Avatar and Up In The Air aren't in the running.
